Ilmberger Carbon

Founded in Germany in 1990 by motorcycle racer Julius Ilmberger, Ilmberger Carbon has grown from a small motorsport-driven operation into one of Europe’s leading specialists in premium carbon fibre components for motorcycles. The company was born from Julius Ilmberger’s own search for lighter, stronger and better-fitting carbon parts for racing.

Today, Ilmberger develops and manufactures a wide range of carbon fibre components, including fairings, mudguards, tank covers, engine protection and aerodynamic parts. Its products are designed with a strong focus on low weight, strength, precise fitment and high-quality surface finish. Ilmberger was also an early pioneer in offering carbon parts with ABE approval for road use in Germany.

Motorsport remains an important part of the brand’s DNA. Ilmberger supplies OEM components to manufacturers including BMW Motorrad and Ducati, while its carbon parts are also used in top-level racing such as WorldSBK and endurance competition. Combining racing experience, advanced composite production and decades of specialised knowledge, Ilmberger continues to develop carbon solutions for both road and track motorcycles.
