Eventuri Carbon Turbo Inlet Elbow

A world first: a full carbon turbo inlet elbow for the RS3 and TTRS platform. Eventuri spent months on intensive R&D to create an inlet that improves airflow without compromise. The design focuses on three key areas: volume, airflow quality and temperature control.

1. Increased Volume

The Eventuri inlet features a much larger internal diameter than the OEM part. The inlet diameter increases from 72 mm stock to 103 mm, while the outlet diameter increases from 56.4 mm stock to 74 mm. This creates significantly more internal volume and helps remove restrictions in the airflow path to the turbo.

2. Improved Airflow Quality

A larger inlet only works properly when the airflow remains smooth. By using high-temperature prepreg carbon fiber, Eventuri is able to create a smooth internal surface. Compared to cast aluminium inlets, which often have a rougher internal finish, the carbon construction and smooth elbow shape help reduce turbulence and improve airflow towards the turbo.

3. Reduced Heat Transfer

The OEM inlet is directly connected to the turbo, allowing heat to transfer quickly into the intake air. Eventuri uses a machined turbo flange together with a silicone coupler and integrated thermal spacer. This separates the carbon elbow from direct turbo contact, helping to reduce heat transfer into the airflow. Combined with the natural low thermal conductivity of carbon fiber, this helps keep intake temperatures lower.
