This one-piece carbon design features inlet diameters increasing from 78mm to 88mm, a 96% increase in cross-sectional area versus the 63mm OEM tube. The smooth prepreg carbon fiber internal surface minimizes turbulence compared to stock cast aluminum, while the integrated thermal spacer prevents direct contact between the carbon elbow and the hot turbo flange.
